Jyoti Sharma (she/her)

LCSW, AASW

  • I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Denver in 2019, along with a certification in Animal-Assisted Social Work from DU’s Institute of Human Animal Connection.

With a concentration in organizational leadership and policy practice, I began my career managing mental wellness and care management programs for people re-entering the community after incarceration. My work with diverse mental health symptoms opened doors to providing direct clinical care, including conducting ketamine-assisted therapy sessions.

  • My career started in non-profit organizations, working with reintegrated citizens and holding space for tough conversations. My journey includes navigating a divorce from a young age, seeing the impact of substance abuse first hand, and even military experience — all of my experiences have allowed me to relate to so many different people. Connecting with people is truly my passion, and I found my niche in providing specialized medicine-assisted therapies and psychedelic integrations.

I’ll be your advocate and biggest supporter during your sessions — because you deserve to have space held for you.

I got into this line of work because I knew I wanted to help people AND work in the medical space. My own journey has led me to this spot, and I couldn’t be more grateful to everything and everyone who got me here.

We all need someone to help us get through the rough patches, no matter what life throws at us — and I would love to help you through your journey.

I am a licensed clinical social worker with a passion for mental health and psychedelics. I’d love to work with you if you’re looking to find a clearer path, become unstuck, disrupt the cycle you’ve found yourself in — and finally experience the healing process.

  • As a licensed independent social worker in the state of Ohio, I am able to offer virtual psychotherapy sessions to all Ohio residents.

  • Residents across Colorado are able to access online therapy services, as well as have the option of coming in person in Boulder, CO.

A Glimpse Into My Journey —
and Why Mental Health is Essential

Growing up in Ohio as a first-generation Asian American, I faced the pressures of achieving the “American Dream” while finding my own identity. This mixture of expectations led to intense chaos and exhaustion in my life. I struggled with finding joy, getting out of bed, and maintaining my relationships. Reaching my lowest point, I asked for help but didn’t receive the support I needed. These experiences fueled my desire to create space and access for others seeking their own healing paths.
